KeetAI ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you use our macOS application and website at keetai.app.
1. Who We Are
KeetAI is a software product that provides real-time AI assistance during job interviews. We are based in India. For any privacy-related queries, contact us at hello@keetai.app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information: Your email address, username, and encrypted password when you create an account.
- Audio data: Short voice recordings captured when you speak to KeetAI during a session. These are sent to our backend server for transcription and are not stored after processing.
- Session data: Duration of your usage sessions, to calculate credits used for billing purposes.
- Payment information: When you purchase credits, Razorpay (our payment processor) handles your card/UPI details. We receive only a payment confirmation — we never see or store your full payment details.
- Resume text: If you paste your resume into the app's settings, it is stored locally on your device and sent to our server only during an active session to help generate personalised answers.
- Device identifier: A random identifier generated on your device to associate your account with your Mac for session management.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To transcribe your voice and generate AI answers during active sessions.
- To track and deduct credits for time used.
- To process payments via Razorpay.
- To send transactional emails such as password reset links (we do not send marketing emails without your consent).

- Audio recordings are processed in real time and discarded immediately — we do not store your voice data.
- Session records (duration, date) are retained for up to 12 months for billing and dispute resolution.
- Account data (email, username) is retained until you delete your account.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@keetai.app.
6. Data Security
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS/HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We do not store your audio or screen content beyond the time needed to process a single request.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the service.
